Lighthouse Lab
The Lighthouse Lab is a series of mini-workshops hosted by Naomi Fein and a guest co-host. Each lab explores ways to navigate our business and life through a new lens, approaches, and models. They are a space to experiment and explore.
When All Eyes Are On You
A conversation about communication under pressure
Most of us have experienced it. The moment we become aware we're being watched, something changes. We become more self-conscious. More controlled. More concerned about getting it right.
Whether it's speaking on camera, presenting an idea, joining a meeting, or representing our business, many of us find ourselves communicating differently under attention.
Who is George Hanover
George Hanover, an actor and facilitator, spent years experiencing this herself and observing it in others.
In this Lighthouse talk, George will guide us in exploring some of what she learned about communication under pressure. We’ll ask why so many of us struggle with it, and experiment with what can help us feel more natural, effective, and like ourselves when all eyes are on us.
Today, George works with people whose roles increasingly require them to communicate under attention, whether on camera, in meetings, presentations, workshops, or public-facing roles. Her approach combines lived experience, careful observation, and practical exercises that support people to feel less self-conscious and more like themselves when all eyes are on them.

This morning I was listening to a podcast about a woman who left Hollywood, moved to Fiji, and ended up rethinking how investment works from the ground up. Hearing her made me hopeful - in a specific way. That's what a voice from outside your world can do. It changes the altitude from which you see your own situation. That's the seed of the Lighthouse Talks - and the first one is this Tuesday, 28 April, free and online.
